The ADHM Moduli Space and Light Cone
Description of Open Membrane Theory
The ADHM moduli space is the discrete light-cone quantization of the
six-dimensional (2,0) superconformal field theory. One can deform the latter
such that it becomes a quantum field theory on a new kind of non-commutative
geometry - one associated with a three-form rather than a two-form
deformation. Physicswise, this deformation is associated with fluctuating
finite-size open membranes. I discuss how to interpret the resolved ADHM
moduli space as a discretized configuration space for open membranes, the
interpretation of the cohomology of the space, and how
to measure moments of quantum open membranes.
